Step One: Line (Block in the basic Shapes) Keep it simple! Seriously…
Step 2: Add the Darks – b/c art is about relationships. Get those darks in to start figuring the form out!
Step 3: Find some mid-tones. Local color, Simple, flat tone… getting started!
Step 4: keep blocking in the “local” color. Hey, it’s starting to look ok!
Step 6: More blocking, and the first little bits of highlights trickle in… are you still with me?
Step 7: We are almost done blocking… soon we can start PAINTING!
Step 8: That’s-A-Nice! Now we are painting! Resolving edges, texture, and tone
