I designed this website to be a simple and elegant way to display current work. I wanted a very clean design that made the images the single focal point.
Six months after I launched my new site, Google launched Google+. Google+ is everything I wanted my site to be. It is an amazing platform for an artist on the web. My entire website is going to be recreated now that G+ has made it redundant. Look for these changes in the months to come. For now, here is the link to my Google+: Daniel Ibanez.
Digital Painting: Conceptual Portrait Study.
This is another one (more of a study) from the ‘Masks Series.’ I wanted to experiment with a digital painting today (it’s been a couple weeks since I finished a digital painting!). It was fun to make, but I still need to complete this series with Oils. Expect more updates throughout the week!
Here is my newest work: An oil painting (in progress) for Woman Wednesday… sorry for the small blurry pic (cell phone), but I was on the go when I took the shot! This will painting will be done soon… .

Since the advent of Google+ I found almost no reason to use a website anymore. While G+ can do all that I need, I decided to start keeping this website updated just because not everyone uses G+… and this space might evolve into something else (now that I have learned so much from being on G+).
